Lovell wins £11m Stoke scheme

Affordable housing firm Lovell has won a £11 million contract from English Partnerships to build a housing scheme in Stoke-on-Trent.

Work on the 91 houses and apartments will start later this month and when finished in 2010 will include low-cost home ownership, affordable rent and shared ownership properties.

Lovell is using Fusion Building Systems’ light steel frame technology, which gives high levels of thermal efficiency, to build the new homes.

Construction is due to be complete by 2010.
