Lovell wins £8.4m council refurb job

Affordable housing contractor Lovell has been awarded a £8.4 million by Dudley Council to work on the council’s housing refurbishment programme.

Lovell will be carrying out internal improvement work to identified properties over the length of the contract.

Upgrade work will include installing new kitchens/bathrooms, as well as carrying out other improvements to tenants’ homes.

Lovell is set to start work on the three-year deal in October and there is an option for the council to extend the contract by a further two years.
