LU makes case

London Underground is expected to submit documents tomorrow (Friday) to Tower Hamlets Borough Council detailing plans for the Bishopsgate goods yard in east London.

The yard has caused a major dispute between LU, which wants to extend the East London Line through it, and English Heritage which claims it should be retained.

The council is expected to take legal advice before returning a decision in July.
