The future of a 10-year transport plan in Luton is in jeopardy after £132 million wor th of projects fell behind schedule. Translink, the East Luton Corridor and the Town Centre Transport Scheme have all experienced delays in development, due to lack of funding and council support. A source at the council said: 'We had a date when contractors were meant to get on board and it's getting increasingly f rust rat ing that we have to keep putting off the work.'
