Glasgow-based Robertson Property is building the 53,000 sq ft superstore and petrol forecourt just off Watermill Road.

About 400 jobs are expected to be created in Fraserburgh with the arrival of a new supermarket and a massive housing complex for the elderly.

Broch-based developer Sanspeur has also won planning consent to build new properties and a nursing home on a 355,250 sq ft site off Boothby Road.
