Manchester retail scheme worth £25m unveiled

Development Securities has announced plans for a £25 million retail and residential scheme in Greater Manchester.

The developer hopes construction will begin on the project this year, and be completed in early 2013.

Food retailer Booths will open a 2,800 sq m store, and there will be an additional 1,100 sq m of retail space and 24 residential apartments.

Development Securities executive director Matthew Weiner said: “This regeneration project is very much in line with the aspect of our strategy that focuses on mixed use developments outside London.”
