Mansell bags £10m Surrey hospital

Balfour Beatty subsidiary Mansell has clinched a £10.7 million contract to extend and upgrade radiotherapy facilities at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, Surrey.
Work will cover installing four new accelerator machines to increase the hospitals capacity to treat patients. Each accelerator will be covered in 2m thick watertight concrete 14m beneath the existing staff car park.

Mansell will also refurbish an existing accelerator bunker at the hospital. Work is due to commence this summer.
