Metronet chair


Metronet has appointed Graham Pimlott as nonexecutive chairman. Mr Pimlott will succeed Keith Clarke, chief executive of WS Atkins. Atkins holds a 20 per cent stake in the Metronet consortium, which also includes Balfour Beatty, Bombardier, EDF and Thames Water. Mr Clarke resigned last month.
