Miller seeks 10pc growth

MILLER chief executive Keith Miller hopes his firm's £264 million acquisition of Fairclough Homes will be the springboard to raise sales by 10 per cent a year.

Miller bought £270 million turnover Fairclough from US owner Centex on Monday in a deal that will raise the Scottish group's completions to more than 4,000 a year.

Mr Miller said: 'We will sell 4,000 units next year but hope to be selling 4,500 units by 2007.

'That's growth of over 10 per cent. The land is there to do that and we've got to deliver that growth year on year.' n For Miller financial results see Finance, page 11
