Minerals alert


The Quarry Products Association has called on the chief executive of Northern Ireland's planning service, David Ferguson, to draw up a minerals plan for the province.The organisation wrote to Mr Ferguson and said:

'Without a continuous supply of aggregates there would be little physical development, and growth in the economy of the country would quickly come to a halt.'
