Morgan Ashurst wins £8.7m resource centre

Morgan Ashurst has won an £8.7 million deal to build a new resource centre for the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

Work will cover construction of a three storey building to house laboratories of containment level 2 and 3. The first floor will be made up of a stem cell bank and the second floor will consist of a plant room and laboratories.

Morgan Ashurst saw off bids from six other firms.

Construction is due to start in July 2008 with completion due at the end of the year.
