Morgan Est nabs £62.5m Lincolnshire road job

Morgan Est has clinched a £62.5 million contract to build a new route to join the A16 to the A47 for Lincolnshire County Council.

The A1073 Spalding to Eye Improvement Scheme will cover construction of a 22km single carriageway, a 70m span bridge and a dual carriageway link to the A15.

The project is being let as an Early Contractor Involvement Scheme under the Lincolnshire Major Projects Framework agreement with Morgan Est.

Work will start next month and due for completion in 2010.
