Mortar firm invests in Midlands

PREMIXED mor tar specialist Premier Mortars has ploughed £400,000 into a production facility in the west Midlands.

The mortar producer, part of landscaping product manufacturer Marshalls, is to open a mixing plant in Brinklow near Coventry and will supply contractors throughout the Midlands.

The site will employ 10 staff and is vital to help the company develop in the area, according to Premier Mortars general manager Nick Bebb.

He said: 'We see the growth of our business into the Midlands as very natural development and we can ensure the same high levels of service and product quality.'

The Coventry plant will work alongside its three existing centres. The company is planning to develop sites and markets in Yorkshire and Scotland.
