Mouchel Parkman buys out three firms

CONSULTANT Mouchel Parkman has spent £48 million on a hat trick of acquisitions.

The firm has bought project managers Hornagold & Hills, software business Traffic Support and utilities consultant Ewan Group.

Mouchel Parkman chief executive Richard Cuthbert said: 'We have reached an extremely important stage in our plans for growth. These acquisitions further differentiate our offering in the property, water and highways markets.'

TSL cost £26.3 million, has 60 staff and turned over £6.9 million last year. H&H cost £11 million, has 170 people and turned over £13.1 million, while Ewan has 250 staff and cost £11 million - the same as the group's turnover.
