Mulalley, Connaught spruce up East End homes

Social housing specialists Mulalley and Connaught have bagged a spot on two deals to spruce up homes in east London

The pair have booked places to carry out both internal and external works on 22,000 homes in Newham, one of the 2012 Olympic boroughs, for arm’s length management firm Newham Homes.

On the internal works programme, which will see -Mulalley and Connaught ripping out and replacing kitchens and bathrooms, the two have been joined by EPS, Rok, Lakehouse Contracts and United House.

Apollo and Breyer have also been asked to help out on the programme for external and common parts, such as pathways.

The work carries an overall price tag of £150 million and is part of the Government’s -Decent Homes initiative to revamp dilapidated housing across the country.

Both projects will run for a total of four years and begin in earnest later this month.
