Multibuild £12m leisure plans approved

Planning approval has been granted for a £12 million hotel and leisure scheme in the centre of Doncaster.

Main contractor Multibuild will work on the 118-bed hotel for Tulip Inn, which will be the first new hotel to be built in Doncaster in four decades.

It has been designed by Cartwright Pickard Architects and developed by Basilton Properties, part of the Lazarus Properties Group.

It is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2008, with the hotel due to open in spring 2009.
