A team of 18 consultants visiting the West Indies managed to avoid Hurricane Ivan, which wreaked havoc in Jamaica at the weekend.The British Consultants and Construction Bureau-led party left the island just hours before the 150 mph storm struck.The group was visiting Jamaica as part of a mission to the West Indies to find out what needs to be done to the islands' transport network and stadia ahead of the 2007 cricket world cup.
