New £3m Guildhall contract to be awarded

Swansea Council's cabinet will meet on Thursday to discuss the tender for the next stage of the multi-million pound Guildhall refurbishment.

About £3 million worth of work is expected to be awarded for the development the council building over this financial year.

There are a total of six phases in the £30 million project, which is being led by the council’s corporate building services team.

Initial works to date have primarily consisted of a major modernisation of the building’s electrical, mechanical and heating systems.
