New contract wins keep Interserve on track

Interserve has won four contracts worth £176 million, keeping it on track to meet 2009 target revenues

The jobs, announced in an interim trading statement today, are:

• A £70 million framework agreement with Mapeley covering work on a UK estate of more than 1,600 properties. Also on the framework are Mansell, Styles & Wood and Carillion.

• A £65 million office and amenity building construction project associated with tanker-maintenance infrastructure in Qatar.

• Financial close on the £20 million Derry Schools PFI contract in Northern Ireland.

• The £21 million construction of The Kingswood School in Corby, Northamptonshire.

The wins have contributed to making up 66 per cent of the firm’s anticipated 2009 revenues, compared to 61 per cent at the same time last year.

The firm will announce its full year results on 11 March.
