New crusher for demolition contract

Surrey based Downwell Demolition has bought a new truck mounted mobile crusher.

The company has bought a Extec C-10+ crusher, which it intends to replace its existing C-10. Downwell said it will run the machine alongside its C-12 crusher.

The new machine is working on a four month contract to demolish Quantum House in Croydon, Surrey. Downwell plans to recycle much of the waste from the seven storey building.

Downwell said it plans to send the machine to a Linden Homes housing project in Guildford where the company preparing the site for an affordable homes scheme.
