New director at products association

The head of the Construction Products Association Michael Ankers has named the new man to take over as the group's new economics policy development director.

Noble Francis replaces Allan Wilen who left at the end of 2007 after 20 years at the association. Mr Wilen is now the economics director at Emap Glenigan, the sister market information provider of CNplus.

Michael Ankers, chief executive at the association, said: “I am delighted that Noble has joined our team.

“He comes with a first class economics pedigree and I know that his experience and enthusiasm will give an additional impetus to our economics activity.”

Mr Francis was the senior economist at credit information company Experian.
