TWO CONSTRUCTION methods that can help house builders meet noise efficiency targets have been approved by regulators.

Scheme regulator Robust Details has passed the use of two details of beam and block floors with concrete topping and floating floor treatment.

Robust Details chief executive Dave Baker said: 'We expect the beam and block f loor patterns to be particularly useful on small developments or tight sites.'
