Norfolk academy plans approved

Plans for Norfolk's first academy school have moved a step closer.

Norfolk County Council has voted to demolish Heartsease High in Norwich and replace it with a £20 million academy.

If schools secretary Ed Balls gives approval, a new academy building could open in 2010.
