North Circular upgrade on the cards

The upgrade of the North Circular Road has moved a step forward after Barnet London Borough Council unveiled the final proposals of the so-called 'Barnet Bond.'

The scheme aims to raise £360m for transport, schools and hospitals, based on the anticipated growth in the council's income, arising from investment.

Barnet has identified more than £700m of infrastructure investment needed over the next 13 years.
