North Lincolnshire Council has announced a shortlist of three bidders for its £80 million Building Schools for the Future scheme.

The three consortia listed are C² Partnership, including Clugston Construction; Generation Education North Lincolnshire, including Sewell Group and Geo Houlton & Sons; and May Gurney Consortium, including May Gurney and Hall Construction Group.

The successful partner will build, refurbish and outfit seven schools in Scunthorpe.

The council expects to announce preferred bidder in autumn this year.
