North Midland lands Leeds work

North Midland Construction has bagged a brace of contracts in Leeds to carry out work for the city council.

The largest is a £1.3 million deal to refurbish Albion Place, one of the main shopping thoroughfares in the middle of the city. NMC will be involved in sprucing up pedestrian areas.

And the Nottinghamshire contractor has a £600,000 contract to re-open a road in the Holbeck area of the city. Sweet Street West – which has been shut for 30 years – will be turned into a one street with additional cycle lanes.
