Nuttall and Gleeson split southwest water contract

TWO FIRMS have tapped into the £250 million South West Water Asset Management Plan 4 contract.

Nuttall and Gleeson will carry out work over the next five years of the framework deal, splitting the bounty evenly.

Projects included in the infrastructure investment programme cannot be confirmed as regulator Ofwat is analysing periodic reviews. It will then decide which water and sewage projects are appropriate and will set price levels in December.

The two contractors will begin work in April 2005.
