ODA picks Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick Contractors has clinched the Olympic Park highways management contract for the Olympic Delivery Authority.

The three year deal will cover maintenance and construction works on the highways within the Olympic Park.

It is expected to minimise congestion and improve efficiency across the Olympic Park and allow the ODA and delivery partner CLM to make full use of the roads.

A Fitzpatrick spokesman said: “Roads within and linking to the Olympic Park are of major logistical importance and central to the construction and preparation for the 2012 Games.

“We are proud to have been awarded the Olympic Park highways management contract and look forward to working alongside the ODA and other stakeholders to help contribute towards a successful regeneration in Stratford.”

Fitzpatrick will deliver the works with its supply chain partner Mott McDonald.
