OFFICE PLAN: Ellmore, the £10 million-a-year turnover contractor from Leeds, is negotiating deals to open associate offices with others in its sector to roll its maintenance arm out of Yorkshire.

Managing director Steve Ellmore said: 'Quite a few of our clients say they will offer us more maintenance work if we can grow out of our area.'

Ellmore made a £193,025 pre-tax profit in the year to November 2004 after losing £151,331 in 2003 when the firm paid extra money into its pension.
