Height safety firm Combisafe has developed a hybrid clamping system for its steel mesh barrier to provide edge protection for Carillion workers on the A249 Swale crossing in Kent. The system in place on the 1.25 km-long viaduct uses a horizontally attaching version of Combisafe's Verticlamp to connect barrier to beam.
