Oxford rights and wrongs

ANIMAL rights activists are up to their old tricks in Oxford with the attacks on three local contractors.

But these firms have nothing to do with construction of the controversial new laboratory which is the focus of the protesters' hate campaign. Their only 'crime' is to have worked previously on other jobs for laboratory client Oxford University.

The activists have failed in their attempts to identify the laboratory builders and are simply lashing out at anyone in the local building industry.

Surely it's time the police stepped in to protect contractors from such unwarranted harassment.
