Perth firm bags largest ever deal

Perth civils contractor I&H Brown has won its largest remediation contract to date with a £10.5 million deal to carry out work at a site in Falkirk.

The £40 million turnover firm, which also an office in Warrington, is carrying out the work for house builders Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon who are behind plans to build 600 homes at Overton Farm.

I&H Brown will be on site for 75 weeks and will move around 600,000 cu m of earth, build around 3,000 m of internal access road, as well as install foul and surface water drainage.

It will also provide service ducts, manage the installation of new services and construct several retaining walls.
