Peterborough uni calls for contract bids

Anglia Ruskin University is inviting bids for £5.5 million contract to develop a new higher-education centre in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The winning bidder will build a teaching block and handle external works and the installation of services at the centre.

Part of a broader £8.9 million project, the centre will be built at the Peterborough Regional College. Work is scheduled to start in July and take 14 months.

Bishop Hall Properties, a subsidiary of the university, is overseeing the contract process and expects to invite between three and eight bidders to submit formal tenders.

The deadline for requests to participate is Wednesday 16 April.
