Pettifer Estates follows construction arm into administration

Pettifer Estates has gone into administration putting 15 jobs at risk.

The property developer’s demise comes after Pettifer Construction went into administration on 27 November.

KPMG Restructuring has been appointed to handle the administration of Pettifer Estates which is based in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire.

It has offices in London and Glasgow, providing a wide range of developments across the UK.

Pettifer Estates specialises in the development of retail warehousing, edge of town schemes and the development of residential and mixed-use.

Pettifer Estates is the company behind plans for the £95 million Vertical Theme Park in Birmingham, which includes a 200m high tower, which would become the fourth tallest building in the UK.

Administrators KPMG said there will be redundancies at Pettifer Estates.

The administrators are winding down Pettifer Construction making all 120 workers redundant.
