PH Jones expands operations

Property maintenance company PH Jones has bought Kent-based air conditioning and engineering firm Coolfactor Group for an undisclosed sum.

The move adds 79 staff to PH Jones workforce increasing the total to 900 with 600 engineers.

PH Jones managing director Martin Jones said: “The provision of air conditioning and refrigeration services is a natural progression for PH Jones, and Coolfactor has an excellent reputation in the industry. Coolfactor has a desirable client list including Barclays and the Spirit Group.”

Coolfactor provides services to commercial contractors throughout London and the midlands and according to PH Jones will continue to trade independently. The current managing director Tony Phillip will remain with the company.

The move follows PH Jones’ purchase of specialist electrical company D-Tec last November.l
