PICK OF THE ROCK: Stone mason Carl Holmes (right) and Bradstone designer James Sargent pick out chunks of sandstone from Bardon Aggregates' Waddington Fell quarry in Lancashire.

The two will shape the chosen stone into a 3-tonne bench, 2.5tonne table and two 0.5tonne chairs for use at the Bradstone garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
