Plans put forward for Luton re-location

Luton Town Football Club has this week submitted a planning application to construct a new 25,000-seat stadium near Junction 12 of the M1.

It is anticipated the proposed new home ground for the League One club, designed by the Miller Partnership, would cost about £55 million to build.

The plans also feature the creation of distribution warehousing and an access link to Harlington Station.

An application for planning consent has been submitted to the Mid and South Bedfordshire District Councils.
