Plans unveiled for £35m commercial development near Sliverstone

Developer Albion Land has announced plans for a £35 million commercial development near Silverstone racetrack in Northamptonshire.

The Network 401 proposals comprise 37,000 sq m of mixed-use buildings near in the ‘Horsepower Highway’ area of the south Midlands city.

A 5,500 sq m health care campus is included in the plans, providing doctors’ surgeries, care beds and dental surgery.

Albion Land director Simon Parsons said: “Network 401 will be a high quality mixed-use development as befits the location and growth plans for Brackley.

“The development will reflect specific occupier requirements and we would expect the completed project to create up to 1,000 jobs and substantial inward investment.”

Mr Parsons said the site was likely to attract high value manufacturing and research & development activity.

Work is expected to start on site in the second quarter of 2012.
