The new Ridgid Model 590L DryCut saw is designed to cut 130 mm outside-diameter pipe, leaving a clean, burr-free, straight or mitre cut. The saw will tackle a variety of materials and Ridgid claims it will cut twice as fast as an abrasive chop saw. The special 355 mm diameter carbide tipped blade cuts dry, so no coolant or lubricant is required. The 590L is powered by a 2,200 W electric motor and weighs just 23 kg.
