Premier Inn eyes £125m airport hotels build

Hotel chain Premier Inn is to build four hotels at UK airports worth a total of £125 million.

The firm has signed deals with property investor the Arora Family Trust to lease the hotels at Heathrow Terminals 4 and 5, Gatwick and Stansted.

The hotels – which are subject to planning permission and other consents – will be built by the developer.

They are scheduled to open on a phased basis from the autumn of 2011 onwards.

An Arora Hotels spokeswoman said: “We are delighted to have reached this landmark agreement with Premier Inn, which very much complements our existing Arora Hotels portfolio and presence at Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.”
