Five Steps Breakfast Roadshows Up to 25 bosses will be invited to each of the shows, which will address five key steps:

1) Leadership - inspiring and creating an entrepreneurial culture to empower and involve people in change.

2) Managing change - what needs to change to remove the barriers to success.

3) Building relationships - sustained growth depends on forging long-term partnerships with clients, suppliers, employees and peers.4) Communication - effective communication of knowledge adds value.

5) Benchmarking - knowing where you are, as a company, is the first step towards continuous improvement and effective strategic management.

Locations - January 2000 Edinburgh, Birmingham, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester x2, London x2 (£65 +VATper person including breakfast). Further roadshows will follow in April, July and October.

UK Company Visits Small groups (up to 20) of senior executives will see successful strategies and approaches in action through company visits to acknowledged UK leaders in January, March, August and June 2001.

International Study Mission In March up to 15 senior executives from the UK will visit successful counterparts in Japan. A second mission is planned, probably to the US, in November.

Champions for Change Conference Up to 150 industry chiefs will be invited to a conference in March 2001 where they will be able to speak about what they have learnt over the course of the programme.
