Protest powers

The High Court has granted Buckinghamshire County Council legal powers to evict non-local protesters illegally camped on the work site for the Stoke Hammond and Linslade bypass.

But so far the council has only asked the demonstrators to move peacefully and leave it to get on with positive talks with local protesters.
