QUALITY IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

COMPANY CULTURE Corporate Social Responsibility Achievement This award will go to a company that has made significant strides towards improving corporate social responsibility with in its organisation or the supply chain.

Training Achievement This award will go to a company that has made an exceptional contribution to training.

Safety Management Achievement This award will go to a company that has demonstrated exceptional improvement in its corporate safety culture.

INNOVATION Product and Material This award will go to a company that has developed an exceptional product or material, which has helped the construction industry boost its performance, in the last three years.

Plant and Equipment This award will go to a company that has developed an exceptional item of plant or const ruct ion equ ipment , which has helped the industry boost its performance, in the last three years .

Management and Process This award will go to a company that has shown exceptional and innovative management strategies or construction techniques.

Innovation through use of IT This award is in recognition of use of IT to raise performance and efficiency.

PROJECT PERFORMANCE Major Project This will be awarded for outstanding construction team performance on a project of over £50 million in value.

Medium-sized Project This will be awarded for outstanding construction team performance on a project of between £5 million and £50 million in value.

Small Project This will be awarded for outstanding construction team performance on a project of up to £5 m illion in value.

International Performance This award recognises a UK construction firm for its outstanding cont r ibut ion to an overseas construction project of any size.

Project Safety This award recognises a project team's outstanding safety performance both in culture and achievement on a particular project or projects.

NEW AWARD Excellence in Collaborative Engineered Design This year a new award is being introduced to recognise exceptional collaborative engineering design.

Good design, whether by civils, structural or M&E engineers, can make a big contribution to a project.

When design becomes a real team effort involving specialist contractors, the principal contractor and clients it can really bring big improvements in safety, buildability, and client satisfaction. This new award will recognise true team effort.

You will need to show how you have worked collaboratively and how you or your team's role influenced the quality of the project.

Did you achieve higher performance, lower costs and increased customer satisfaction? If you did enter these new awards to get the recognition you deserve.

This award recognises a team for exceptional performance on a particular package or project of any size.

The award will recognise the value brought to a project by the consultant working on an integrated basis and must include the contribution of specialists from the supply chain.
