Rapid Hire expands

Plant

WEST Bromwich tool hirer Rapid Hire has benefited from parent company Tilbury Douglas' recent acquisitions, by expanding operations. Tilbury's purchase of Kwikform UK last August has led to powered access and towers hire subsidiary, KwikHire, being absorbed by Rapid Hire.

This means that Rapid's network will now add Kwikform products to its portfolio, along with Lynx and Selflock towers from KwikHire. Rapid will also add five new outlets to its network, from London to Liverpool.

Rapid managing director Nichola Balmer said: 'This acquisition allows us to provide both Rapid Hire and KwikHire's customers with a much broader choice of quality products and improved local availability.'
