Regeneration of Swansea Bay closer

Plans that would result in a revitalisation of Swansea Bay are a step closer.

The Swansea Bay Strategy has been amended following a period of comprehensive consultation and has been approved by Swansea Council Cabinet.

It sets out a vision for the waterfront that pinpoints key areas for development, including the city seafront, Sketty Lane, Mumbles, Mumbles Pier and Blackpill.

The Swansea Bay Strategy will now go to Full Council for its backing.
