Liverpool John Moores University is planning to invest £35m in redeveloping the City Campus, located on Byrom Street, the main gateway from the M62 to Liverpool city centre. The first phase of development will comprise of a new building for the University's faculty of science, as well as expanded lecture theatre space and a research space for the faculty of technology and environment. All work is expected to be completed by September 2009. The University will appoint a construction organisation to act as management contractor to construct all of the first phase works. The deadline for responses is October 22.
