A development partnership formed by Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville has released the first images for a major mixed-use development in Manchester.
The 700,000 sq ft St Michael scheme will include a 200-bed five-star hotel, 153 homes, 135,000 sq ft of office space and 30,000 sq ft for retail. It was designed by Make Architects.
The St Michael’s partnership was formed by Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Brendan Flood and includes Singapore developer Rowsley, Beijing Construction and Engineering Group International and Jackson’s Row Developments, which is Mr Neville’s company.
He said: “Our vision is to deliver the biggest statement in architecture and development that Manchester has seen in modern times.”
BCEGI lead director Lau Yew Cheong added: “Our priority as an investor and contractor is to show continued commitment to this thriving city and our involvement in St Michael’s is a testament to this.”
