RNJ to develop Newcastle public house

Newcastle-based construction consultants RNJ are working on a £2.4 million contract to develop a new public house in North Tyneside.

Sir John Fitzgerald Ltd has appointed RNJ to provide consultancy services in the delivery of their latest public house in Shiremoor.

Building work started on site in October on the building which will serve brand new housing and retail developments that are taking shape at Northumberland Park, Shiremoor.

RNJ will be acting as quantity surveyors, contract administrators CDM co-ordinators and clerk of works on this project.

Stephen Box, partner at RNJ said: “This appointment is the latest in a series of leisure projects we’ve carried out with Sir John Fitzgerald Ltd. Recent schemes across the region include Twin Farms, Kenton Bankfoot, The Bacchus, Newcastle upon Tyne, Shiremoor House Farm, Shiremoor and The Ridley Arms, Stannington.

“We have formed a strong working relationship with the team at Sir John Fitzgerald Ltd over the years and we are looking forward to working with them again on this development.”
