Alfred McAlpine has been confirmed as winner of a £40 million deal to carry out highways maintenance for Suffolk County Council over four-and-a-half years, with an option to extend by five years, bringing the potential value of the deal to £85 million. The firm will work alongside the council's inhouse team, Suffolk Highways Contracting.
