Round-up Van Oord deal

DUTCH contractor Van Oord's UK operation has clinched a £10 million partnering deal with Hyder Utilities for a 4.2 km outfall at Cardiff wastewater treatment works. The firm has taken another outfall contract, worth £10.5 million, for Southern Water at Sandown on the Isle of Wight. The design and construct deal includes tunnelling, twin pumping main pipelines and a 3.2 km sea outfall.
